The late great Jimi Hendrix was known for his partying as one of the biggest icons of the 60's, he flew around the world setting parties on fire with amazing acoustic and electric guitar riffs, one of his favorite spots where he made several appearances in the streets of London, was the night club Bag O' Nails on Carnaby Street.

When Jimi took to the stage of at Bag O'Nails, London was a hotspot and the venue was frequented by the likes of Paul McCartney, the Bee Gees, James Brown and many of the biggest icons of the rock ‘n’ roll era from around the world.

2019 is set to see a revival of the night club as it opens its doors again and a new lease of life is breathed into it. The transformation is set to turn Bag O'Nails into 'The Court' one of London’s most sought after private members clubs. The site on Kingly Street has been acquired by a consortium led by entrepreneur Harry Mead, who has bought the leasehold of the 3,500 sq ft property from a private investor and plans to commit £2 million to the project.

It has already gained huge interest with a waiting list forming, of London’s elite. The Courts' decor and interiors have been designed by the eclectic artist, Bradley Theodore who has added to the atmosphere of this Kingly Street venue by painting the outside facade in his signature iconic style as they prepare for a soft launch. With Michelin star quality food guided by chef Tom Sellers, who will develop The Court’s menu, and mixologist Ryan Chetiyawardana and his team at Mr Lyan Studio, who are creating a dynamic drinks list. Other partners include celebrity florist Nikki Tibbles. Richard Haddon, former general manager of Mahiki London, The Estate has begun curating some of the most prestigious A-listers from all over Africa for the launch in the first quarter of 2019.
